The Pampered Chef Company was founded by Doris Christopher in 1980. The Company Headquarters is located in Addison, Illinois, a suburb of Chicago. Its products are presently sold in five countries; namely USA, Canada, Mexico, United Kingdom and Germany. In 2002, the Company was acquired by Berkshire Hathaway Corporation.
Pampered Chef focuses on preparation of food in homes and markets kitchen tools, food products, cook books for this purpose. It does not deal with such items for hotels, restaurants etc.
